Hays LAS provided design services for the infield at Wheeling Island Racetrack and Gaming Center. The design created a user friendly and aesthetic outdoor space that provides a seamless transition from an indoor observation area to the racetrack.

The design solution focused on pedestrian circulation, critical sight lines and safety. Ornamental aluminum fencing safely separates the track from the viewing area and reflects the curvilinear nature of the design.
